This map is a prelude to each of the 17 videos. It is a montage of three different maps – the very first map of Richmond after it had been subdivided, a contemporary google map, and several online antique admiralty maps. The audio is taken from a field trip that the artists took to record bird song and ambient sound along the northern arm of the Fraser River.
