This video was created from two separate films held at the CBC Media Archives. To The Ports of the World: Part II which was shot at some time during the four day celebration of the opening of the airport in 1931 and A Day at the Airport which was shot by an unknown member of the Vancouver Cine 8 Club at some point in the 1930s.
Sq’sazun’ is the Musqueam name for the island that is known as Sea Island.
