For Richmond Island (video still): colour, sound, 4:03
This video uses one frame from footage shot of planes over the Berlin Tegel airport. The frame contained one plane and its contrail. The plane was copied thousands of times at different sizes to create the skyscape and the contrail was used to create the illusion of the Milky Way. The audio is a mash-up of the Apollo moon landing and audio from the Vancouver air traffic control tower.
