Lulu Sweet: A Gold Rush Tale in 8 Acts (2015), is a location aware walking tour app situated on the Fraser River, re-imagining the life of Gold Rush actress Lulu Sweet, for whom Lulu Island (Richmond, BC) was ostensibly named.
DIRECTIONS
For viewers in Richmond/Vancouver the walk is located on the Middle Arm Trail, right behind the Richmond Olympic Oval between the Dinsmore and No 2. Road Bridge. There will be a sign indicating where to begin the tour, also the app itself will have a “beacon” that will help direct you to the stories. Once a story begins, the screen will change from the map to the story interface.
Please be aware of your surroundings as you walk.
PARKING
Paid parking is available at the Richmond Olympic Oval. Exit the parking lot on the North side and head towards the river. Follow the blinking icon on the screen of the app.
